is a partner in the firm’s M&A and energy practice groups. He advises on joint ventures and acquisitions in the energy sector, renewables and oil and gas. He also has unique experience of working with intergovernmental agreements and host government agreements used in cross-border energy and infrastructure projects, having advised on permitting and international law aspects of strategic regional pipelines. He graduated from Istanbul University and received LLM degrees from İstanbul Bilgi University and Harvard Law School. He is on the board of directors of the AVERE Turkey Electro Mobility Association, a recent initiative advocating energy efficiency in transportation, and is on the editorial board of the Turkish Commercial Law Review. He is also a member of the Turkey-China Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board.
