About Dámaso Pardo

Dámaso Pardo heads the IP, privacy, new technologies, and legal advertising department of Bruchou. He provides legal advice and litigates in conflicts regarding trade marks, patents, advertising, and marketing law, as well as privacy and internet law. Dámaso was a consultant at WIPO in Geneva, Switzerland, for the Mercosur project, between 1993 and 1994. He has practised IP law for 30 years since, in some of the most prestigious law firms in Buenos Aires. From 2016 to 2019 Dámaso held the position of President of the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). He teaches IP in the master’s programme of Intellectual Property and Innovation at the University of San Andrés.
