About Sebastián P. Vedoya

Sebastián P. Vedoya is a partner at Bruchou & Funes de Rioja and, along with Sergio Arbeleche, leads the mining department. With over 27 years of experience, Mr Vedoya advises local and foreign companies on all legal aspects of the mining industry. His expertise spans all stages of mining projects – exploration, construction, and operation – including permits. He has participated in mining project acquisitions, joint ventures, and assignments of mining rights, including due diligence, contract drafting, feasibility studies, and advising on Argentine-Chilean binational projects and mining royalties. He also contributes to regulatory drafting and defends client rights under promotional systems.
