Sergio D. Arbeleche
is a partner at Bruchou & Funes de Rioja and, along with Sebastián Vedoya, leads the mining department, bringing over 27 years of experience advising local and foreign companies on mining, environmental and hydrocarbon matters. His expertise spans contract law, administrative law, public international law and constitutional law. He provides strategic guidance on acquisitions, negotiations and the assignment of mining rights and properties, as well as due diligence, title assessment, contract drafting and permit proceedings. Sergio has contributed to the development of regulatory frameworks and advised on binational Argentina-Chile mining and infrastructure projects. He was retained by the UN in 2002 for mining promotional tools and has recently advised President Milei on investment incentives.
