About Jelly Wu

Jelly Wu is an attorney at Shanghai LANBAI Law Firm, specialising in labour and employment law, with a combined academic background in human resource management (BM at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics) and law (LLM at East China University of Political Science and Law). Her practice covers contentious and non-contentious matters as well as retainer legal advisory services, spanning employment contracts, working hours and leave systems and work-related injury benefits. As a member of the Youth Academic Committee of the Shanghai Labour and Social Security Society, Jelly co-authored the research project “Alignment Analysis Between World Bank B-Ready Labour Indicators and China’s Labour Standards,” which received the Society’s 2024 Key Research Achievement Award.
