About Alberto Faro

Alberto Faro is a prominent specialist in project finance at Machado Meyer, with deep expertise in structuring, negotiating and implementing local and cross-border financings, including complex structured transactions. He advises project companies, shareholders and a wide range of financiers – such as commercial banks, investment funds, multilateral and development agencies – on all stages of financing transactions, with experience across sectors including energy, mining, oil and gas, sanitation, logistics and transportation. He holds LLM degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and FGV, and international experience at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in New York.
