Alexandrine Ananou is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group in London where she specialises in multi-jurisdictional patent litigation and life sciences regulatory law. In the life sciences sector, she has mainly acted for originators in complex multi-jurisdictional pharmaceutical patent litigations (often involving SPCs and unfair competition issues). Alexandrine also advises clients on a wide range of regulatory issues particularly in relation to data exclusivity, paediatrics extensions, skinny labels, bioequivalence, biosimilars and orphan drugs. She has also provided regulatory strategy advice to innovators (for instance in the context of parallel imports and the Falsified Medicines Directive) and advised the largest online retailer as well as other life sciences companies on regulatory compliance.
