About Sameera Mahmud

Sameera Mahmud is a co-managing partner at The Legal Circle and has more than 14 years of experience in legal practice. She is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by Lincoln’s Inn (2011). Focusing on banking and finance, Sameera comprehensively handles complex loan advisory transactions, including loan syndication, and has extensive experience in security enforcement matters, notably in Artha Rin Adalat (Money Loan Court) and facilitating out-of-court settlements. Along with advising on regulatory matters for financial services, corporate finance and mobile banking, her practice includes M&A, power and energy (PPA, EPC/O&M contracts) and telecommunications regulatory compliance.
