is a senior associate who has extensive experience in the regulatory framework and legal practices of the pharmaceutical sector in Jordan. She continues to advise local and international pharmaceutical companies on the legal arrangements for conducting clinical trials and bio-equivalence studies in Jordan, as well as on issues related to the registration of pharmaceutical products with the Jordanian Food and Drug Administration. She has also advised foreign pharmaceutical companies on Jordanian law issues relating to the incorporation of pharmacies and drugstores, as well as the conclusion, registration, and termination of pharmaceutical distribution agreements. Sanaa is an experienced senior associate with special emphasis on banking, finance and business transactions. She has participated in a number of financings and acquisitions, including a major acquisition of three logistics and freight-forwarding companies by a foreign investor, as well as the Central Electricity Generating Company’s sale transaction by the Jordanian government. Sanaa is admitted to the Jordanian Bar, and is a graduate of the University of Jordan School of Law, Amman, Jordan (LLB, 1992), and McGill University, Montreal, Canada (LLM, 1994).
