About Michael Herold

Michael Herold is a partner at GvW Graf von Westphalen in Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart. Dr Herold is a member of the TMC/IP practice group and co-head of the digitalisation and technology focus area, and has many years of experience in the fields of IT security law, IT law, data protection and information security law, including the digitalisation of public administration. His practice focuses on establishing comprehensive IT security, data protection and information security management systems (ISMS/DSMS). Currently, his focus is on advising companies on the implementation of the NIS-2 Directive, the CER Directive, and other regulations under the EU Cybersecurity Strategy (such as DORA and the Cyber Resilience Act).
