Mariana Alves is an associate and a member of the corporate and Latin America team at Maples and Calder, the Maples Group’s law firm, in the Cayman Islands. She advises on all aspects of corporate work, mutual funds, private equity funds and corporate finance, structured finance and capital market transactions. As part of the Latin America group, Mariana works with clients originating from Latin America as well as those investing into the region. Born in Brazil and educated in Canada, Mariana speaks fluent Portuguese and English.
