About Paul Burton

Paul Burton is the head of the Jersey corporate team at Maples and Calder (Maples Group’s law firm). He advises a broad range of clients, including private equity sponsors, on the most complex cross-border downstream M&A transactions including leveraged buyouts and infrastructure and consortium investment transactions. He has represented institutional investors and financial sponsors for many years, at all stages of the investment cycle and across a range of sectors. Paul holds a special interest in downstream private equity, infrastructure and growth capital investment activity. He also has extensive experience with debt capital markets and alternative credit.
