About Matthew P. Joseph

Matthew P. Joseph focuses primarily on structured finance transactions. He regularly represents issuers and underwriters in public offerings and private placements of ABS, and he is often involved in structuring innovative transactions with new asset types or unique tax and cash-flow structures, utilising various forms of credit enhancement and derivatives. He also represents large financial institutions in structured lending transactions both on balance sheet and in commercial paper conduit transactions, as well as in acquisition financing transactions. Matthew’s practice covers both the mortgage-backed and the asset-backed space and he is known as a leader on transactions backed by marketplace loans, auto loans and leases and esoteric assets.
