About Joel Chng

Joel Chng is a partner in WongPartnership’s Restructuring and Insolvency and Special Situations Advisory Practices. His significant matters include acting for the judicial managers of Xihe Holdings in the restructuring of over SGD1 billion in debt, and acting for the EMAS Chiyoda Subsea group with debt in excess of SGD1 billion. Joel is a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore (IPAS) and a member of the Young Insolvency Practitioners Sub Committee 2021 of IPAS and the Law Society of Singapore’s Insolvency Practice Committee 2022. He is a co-convenor of the IPAS Restructuring module at the Singapore Management University.
