Iván Ruiz Moreno
is founding partner at Ruiz Moreno & Asociados and has more than 20 years' experience in TMT, regulated industries, infrastructure, corporate and commercial law. Throughout his career, he has worked as a public officer of the former Mexican Federal Telecommunications Commission, a member of COFETEL’s Consultation Council, a parliamentary counsel and outside legal counsel/board member for domestic and international companies from three different continents, including start-ups, consolidated carriers and CFE Generación II, which is an affiliate of the incumbent state-owned power company, CFE. Throughout the last 15 years, Iván has represented clients in areas such as telecommunications, broadcast, corporate law, contracts, antitrust and the electric sector. He is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, a former president and current board member of Mexico’s Telecommunications Law Institute (IDET), and a member of Duke Law’s and ITAM’s alumni associations, among others.
