About Koichi Miyamoto

Koichi Miyamoto is a partner at AMT and specialises in financial regulatory issues, covering the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the Investment Trusts Act. His professional experience includes providing legal services and advice in relation to the structuring, formation and marketing of domestic and foreign investment funds, consisting of private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate and infrastructure funds, as well as asset management, fintech and various types of financial transactions. He previously worked with the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission of Japan (2008–2010), where he managed and directed the inspection of financial instruments business operators.
