About Koichi Saito

Koichi Saito is a partner at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune. He specialises in various ESG-related matters, including climate change, biodiversity, business and human rights, DEI and sustainability finance. He advises Japanese and multinational corporations, governments and international organisations on these matters. Recently, he has been focused on advising clients on both mandatory and voluntary disclosure of ESG-related information. In addition, he has contributed numerous articles on this topic, particularly regarding equity-based incentive compensation and business and human rights, both in Japan and overseas. He has also delivered presentations on business and human rights issues at panel discussions for international conferences organised by the International Bar Association.
