About Wataru Shimizu

Wataru Shimizu is a partner at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune. He specialises in a wide range of technology and intellectual property matters and has a strong interest in ESG and SDG issues, particularly climate change and business and human rights. He advises Japanese and multinational companies on ESG and SDG issues. Since 2022, he has also been a member of the SDGs Consortium at Keio University, and in 2024, he was a project professor at Keio University, exploring how law can contribute to global sustainability.
