About Takao Shojima

Takao Shojima is a partner of Anderson Mori & Tomotsune who has practiced as a Japanese qualified lawyer for some 20 years. He was admitted to the NY Bar in 2012. Takao has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and private equity. Recently, Takao advised a Japanese listed company to set up a joint venture company using a company split arrangement, and he has assisted overseas venture capitals with investing in Japanese start-ups, providing them with a variety of services including the preparation of joint venture agreements, structuring advice, governance advice and counsel on FDI regulation issues.
