About Takefumi Sato

Takefumi Sato is a partner at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, specialising primarily in commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution proceedings for domestic and international clients alike. His experience covers a broad range of disputes, including securities litigation, M&A and joint-venture-related disputes, franchise business lawsuits, disputes over control of a company, and defective product lawsuits. He also has broad experience in labour and employment, including negotiation with protesting employees, handling lawsuits, preliminary injunctions and labour tribunals, as well as advising on collective bargaining. Takefumi is also currently serving as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate Schools for Law and Politics.
