He has more than 25 years’ experience in procedural law, arbitration law, civil law, constitutional law, administrative law and regulatory law governing telecommunications, fishing, energy and hydrocarbons. He has acted as main lawyer in several leading cases on arbitral and judicial matters and before national and international courts such as the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. He is a member of the main national and international associations in arbitration and judicial matters, such as the Ibero-American Institute of Procedural Law, the Latin American Arbitration Association and the International Bar Association (IBA). He is a former lecturer in arbitration and procedural law at Universidad de Lima, Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, Universidad de Piura and at the Academy of the Judiciary; he is also an honorary teacher at the Law Faculty of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma De Mexico-UNAM and the author of many publications on arbitral and judicial matters.
