About Hiroko Kasama

Hiroko Kasama is a counsel at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto whose practice areas include domestic and international M&A, corporate governance and corporate litigation. She has advised a number of private equity buyers and sellers on their acquisitions and sales of Japanese targets. She also provides regular advice to private equity sponsors on their fund formation. She was admitted to the Japanese Bar in 2013 and to the New York Bar in 2021. She received her LLM in 2020 from New York University School of Law and her JD in 2012 from the University of Tokyo, School of Law.
