About Hiroyuki Tanaka

Hiroyuki Tanaka is a partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, licensed in Japan and New York, and the Adjunct project professor at Keio University Graduate School of Law. His practice areas are data protection, IT and IP, and he has extensive experience in advising foreign clients on Japanese data protection law. He is also familiar with global data protection regulations, including the GDPR and CCPA, and assists Japanese clients with global data protection compliance by working closely with local counsel.
