About Nobuharu Onishi

Nobuharu Onishi is a partner at MHM and is active in the fields of asset management, investment funds, investment companies, capital markets and financial regulations. He advises an international client base, with a particular focus on the USA, the EU, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands. He advised the Financial Services Agency and the Japan Securities Dealers’ Association when new foreign investment funds regulations concerning derivative transactions and diversification requirements were introduced, and assisted the JSDA in prescribing the new regulations in accordance with the Asia Region Funds Passport’s Memorandum of Co-operation. Nobuharu is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
