He advises an international client base, with a particular focus on the USA, the EU, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands. He was advising the Financial Services Agency and the Japan Securities Dealers’ Association (JSDA) when new foreign investment funds regulations concerning derivative transactions and diversification requirements were introduced, and he has assisted the JSDA in prescribing the new regulations in accordance with the Asia Region Funds Passport’s Memorandum of Co-operation that the Japanese government signed on 28 April 2016. Nobuharu is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association.
