About Shuhei Takaishi

Shuhei Takaishi is a banking and finance counsel at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, where he advises on and facilitates domestic and cross-border banking, LBO finance, project finance and other types of financial transactions. Shuhei received his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2010, his JD from the University of Tokyo in 2013, and his LLM from the University of Chicago Law School in 2020. He is admitted to practice in Japan, and passed the New York Bar in 2020. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
