About Yasutaka Tokuda

Yasutaka Tokuda is a senior associate at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. He specialises in the healthcare sector and related industries, and advises on regulatory and transactional matters in the drug, medical device and life sciences industries. He previously worked at the Pharmaceutical Safety and Environmental Health Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) for two years, where he was engaged as a legal adviser in monitoring and issuing instructions to pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and other healthcare-related businesses. At MHLW he participated in the study and discussions regarding possible major revisions to the Cannabis Control Act.
