About Yuma Ito

Yuma Ito is a senior associate at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto whose practice areas include M&A and private equity transactions, as well as appraisal rights and other M&A litigation. He has advised a number of private equity and strategic buyers and sellers on their acquisitions and sales of Japanese targets, including companies in the energy and infrastructure sector. He is particularly experienced in going-private transactions, and is familiar with the relevant securities regulations and disclosure requirements. He received his LLM degree in 2022 from Columbia Law School and worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell as a foreign temporary associate.
