Yusuke Murakami is one of the leading partners in the energy and infrastructure group of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. He has represented major investors, developers and contractors in a wide range of energy and infrastructure projects with respect to the full spectrum of project stages – development, construction (EPC), financing, M&A, joint venture, and dispute resolution. He has represented major investors and developers in many high-profile M&A deals in Japanese energy and infrastructure markets, including the historic acquisition by ENEOS Corporation of Japan Renewable Energy from Goldman Sachs in 2021. With an LLM from Harvard Law School and a secondment to Allen & Overy in London, he also has significant expertise in cross-border projects.
