About Koichiro Yoshimura

Koichiro Yoshimura is a counsel at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, where he started his career in 2007. Mr Yoshimura has extensive experience in the field of taxation, covering both tax planning and controversy matters. Between 2015 and 2017, he worked as an adviser at the Secretariat for the Committee on Fiscal Affairs of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Mr Yoshimura is a member of the IFA and serves as the Young IFA Network representative of the Japan IFA branch. Mr Yoshimura is the author of Clarifying the Meaning of ‘Beneficial Owner’ in Tax Treaties, 72 Tax Notes Int’l 761 (2013).
