Koichiro Yoshimura
is a tax partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He has extensive experience in the field of taxation, covering tax planning and tax disputes (including tax audits). Between 2015 and 2017, Koichiro worked as an adviser at the Secretariat for the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs. In addition to his Japanese legal qualifications, Koichiro has an LLM from Harvard Law School and an LLM in taxation from New York University School of Law. He is the author of “Clarifying the Meaning of ‘Beneficial Owner’ in Tax Treaties”, 72 Tax Notes Int’l 761 (2013).
