About Keiji Tonomura

Keiji Tonomura is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu and the head of the firm’s TMT practice team. His practice focuses on M&A, IP/IT-related transactions, and data security/privacy matters. He has extensive experience representing global and local clients on complex business transactions as well as regulatory matters, with a particular focus on the TMT sectors, including new business fields such as AI, fintech, healthtech, MaaS, and blockchain/crypto. He is actively involved in the rule-making process; for instance, he serves as a member of ”AI Institutional Research Group” (Cabinet Office) (2024–present) and ”web3 Project Team” (Liberal Democratic Party of Japan) (2022–present).
