Hirokazu Tanaka
is an associate in the energy and infrastructure practice team of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He regularly advises on offshore wind farm projects, project finance, relevant market regulations, market trading, transactions involving power plants, large-scale power batteries, corporate PPAs, and trading of environmental attributes. From 2024 to 2025, he was seconded to the Wind-Power Policy Office of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, where he was responsible for revising the Offshore Wind Promotion Act for the Exclusive Economic Zone of Japan. From 2025 to 2026, he was seconded to the Electricity and Gas Market Surveillance Commission, where he worked on the design and surveillance of electricity market trading.
