About Masato Kumeuchi

Masato Kumeuchi is a partner at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He moved to California in 2016 and obtained a Master of Laws degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law. From 2017 to 2018, he was seconded to Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, and to date, he has been involved in various types of real estate transactions (including hotel management-related transactions), real estate finance, and incorporation, public offerings, and M&A of REITs. He has also advised domestic and foreign real estate private equity funds on a wide range of matters.
