About Shota Toda

Shota Toda is an associate at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, focusing on international commercial arbitration and complex cross-border disputes. He previously served as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, where he worked closely with arbitral tribunals in investor-state and commercial arbitration proceedings. Shota earned a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School and is qualified to practise as a solicitor in England and Wales, as well as in New York and Japan.
