About Yutaro Fujimoto

Yutaro Fujimoto is a partner in the energy and infrastructure practice team of Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu. He regularly advises on power plant projects (conventional and renewable) and their project finance, start-ups and mergers and acquisitions of electricity retail businesses, wholesale transactions of electricity and gas pursuant to the market regulations, new business such as Corporate PPAs, and provides dispute resolution services in connection with energy businesses. In 2015–17, he worked as the first deputy director at the secretariat office of the Electricity and Gas Market Surveillance Commission of Japan to support its launch and full liberalisation of the electricity and gas retail markets.
