About Yvonne Ong

Yvonne Ong heads the Intellectual Property practice group at RDL. With over 25 years of legal practice, she advises on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including trade marks, patents, copyright, IP commercialisation, enforcement and disputes. She has a particular interest in intellectual property issues arising from emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. Yvonne is currently President of the Malaysian Intellectual Property Association (MIPA). She is also active in the IP Committee of the Malaysian Bar Council, AIPPI Malaysia and the ICC Malaysia IP Working Committee. She is recognised by Chambers Asia-Pacific as a leading practitioner in intellectual property.
