About Takahiro Kato

Takahiro Kato is a counsel of Nishimura & Asahi (Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo). He has been engaged in a wide variety of restructuring cases from out-of-court workouts to judicial bankruptcy proceedings. He has also handled disputes and litigations in relation to both bankruptcy cases and general corporate matters. Drawing upon his international experience, he also advises international clients in cross-border M&A, bankruptcy/liquidation, and other transactions. He is admitted to practice in Japan (2010), New York (2019) and California (2021).
