About Kosuke Ojio

Kosuke Ojio is an associate at TMI Associates specialising in sports and entertainment, compliance and crisis management. He was previously seconded to the Japan Sports Agency, and he now supports sports administration bodies, as well as national governing bodies and national federations. He was a crucial member in the development of two sports governance codes in Japan, one applicable to national federations and the other applicable to general sports organisations. He has also applied his expertise in assisting with the establishment of the Japanese NCAA, a new organisation formed to oversee university sports. After graduating from a law school specialising in sports law in the UK, he worked in the legal departments of the IOC, IPC, World Rugby and Rugby Football Union. He is also familiar with the legal systems of overseas sports organisations and is a member of the Tokyo Bar Association.
