Kazumitsu (Kaz) Goto
is a partner of the firm who represents Japanese and international clients in cross-border M&A, capital markets transactions, corporate governance and a variety of other matters. A native speaker of Japanese and fluent in English, Kazumitsu handles a range of public and private M&A matters for strategic and private equity clients, cross-border joint ventures and global capital markets transactions, including advice on financial regulations. He has experience of working on-site as counsel at one of the major securities companies in Japan, as well as of IPOs and other capital market businesses. Kazumitsu, who is also deeply familiar with the trends and legal concerns related to the technology sector, is a member of the Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
