is an associate attorney who focuses his practice on commercial litigation and international arbitration, and regulatory investigations. He has handled disputes involving breach of directors’ fiduciary duties, enforcement of warranty clauses under merger agreements, foreign investments and international trade, as well as US class actions in consumer disputes related to bid rigging and price fixing. During his time as a deputy director at the Office for WTO Compliance and Dispute Settlement in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, he led trade disputes for the Japanese government and presented oral arguments before the World Trade Organization. He is a member of the Tokyo Bar Association and has an LLM degree in international economic and business law from Georgetown University.
