About Masato Tanaka

Masato Tanaka is a corporate and M&A partner at TMI’s Tokyo office and is a core member of the Venture Capital and Startup Practice Group. He specialises in venture capital investments, cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and private equity. For international clients (especially US, Asian, European, and Middle Eastern clients), he has also advised on various matters including joint development agreements, commercial agreements, corporate and employment matters, and disputes in Japan. Masato is admitted to the bar in Japan, the state of New York, and the state of California, and as a registered foreign attorney in Israel.
