About Masato Tanaka

Masato Tanaka is a corporate and M&A partner at TMI Associate’s Tokyo office, and is a core member of the venture capital and start-up practice group. He specialises in venture capital investments, cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and private equity. For international clients (especially US, Asian, European and Middle Eastern clients), he has also advised on matters including joint development agreements, commercial agreements, corporate and employment matters, and disputes in Japan. Masato is admitted to the bar in Japan, the State of New York, and the State of California, and as a registered foreign attorney in Israel.
