About Tomoki Yanagisawa

Tomoki Yanagisawa of TMI Associates, FCIArb, is a partner focusing his practice on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration for Japanese and foreign clients. He also currently serves as Deputy Secretary General for the Japan International Dispute Resolution Center to promote international arbitration in Japan. His experience includes disputes involving construction, product liability, corporate takeovers, derivatives, investments, insurance, tax, franchise, and trade secrets. Tomoki has also handled regulatory investigations involving multiple jurisdictions. He received an LLM degree from Stanford University and is admitted to practice in Japan, New York and California. He also served as the Group General Counsel for ASICS, a global manufacturer of sporting goods, where he was responsible for all legal and intellectual property matters of the company.
