About Laura Villa

Laura Villa specialises in corporate law and energy and infrastructure projects, advising domestic and international clients on corporate and regulatory matters. She has been involved in various complex transactions, including regulatory proceedings before Mexican energy authorities and issues related to developing large-scale energy infrastructure projects. Laura has advised on the structuring and implementation of natural gas and electricity projects, corporate restructurings and regulatory compliance. She also has experience in corporate governance and the responsibilities of management bodies. Before joining NHG, Laura worked at an international law firm in Mexico City. She also has experience in regulatory compliance matters (automotive and financial sectors). Previously, Laura received the CENEVAL Award for Excellence in Performance.
