About Kate Hay

Kate Hay is partner in charge of Mallesons’ Melbourne office, with outstanding expertise in intellectual property across the life sciences and tech sectors. In addition to being a highly regarded patent litigator, Kate has acted on leading copyright and trade mark cases. Kate is a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Law Council of Australia, the Vice-President of the Australian Committee of the Intellectual Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the head of ChIP’s Victorian Chapter, and a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ).
