About Alberto Colla

Alberto Colla is a partner with 20-plus years’ experience advising Australian and international clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestments, restructurings, capital raisings, joint ventures and other commercial contracts. Alberto leads MinterEllison’s foreign investment team, assisting foreign companies with their growth in Australia. His practice intersects with managing key Australian regulators including ASX, ASIC, FIRB and the Takeovers Panel, of which he is a member. He is also a member of the Corporations Committee and Foreign Investment Committee of the Law Council of Australia. These committees engage with the Treasury on Australia’s corporations and foreign investment laws, including reform proposals.
