About Hugh McDonald

Hugh McDonald is a senior associate with MinterEllison with more than ten years’ experience specialising in change of control transactions (including listed company takeovers and schemes of arrangement), ASX disclosure and compliance issues, capital raising transactions, directors’ duties, corporate governance matters, foreign investment rules and regulations, Takeovers Panel disputes and private treaty acquisitions, divestments, restructurings and joint venture transactions. He has acted for a range of domestic and international clients in the private equity, mining, manufacturing, agribusiness, technology, digital media, travel and leisure, and consumer goods sectors. Hugh is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
