About Boo Cheng Xuan

Boo Cheng Xuan is part of the technology, multimedia and telecommunications practice group at Shearn Delamore & Co. He focuses on advisory and transactional matters related to digital technology and cybersecurity, including digital banking, fintech, the metaverse, AI, data centres, cloud computing, telecommunications, software, e-commerce and gaming. He also assists clients in responding to cyber-attacks and data breaches. Cheng Xuan is a member of the Malaysian Bar’s National Young Lawyers and Pupils Committee, LAWSIA’s Communications, Technology and Data Protection Committee, and LAWASIA’s Emerging Lawyers Committee. He has spoken on and moderated discussions about legal technology at the Taiwan-Malaysia Young Lawyers Forum 2023 and the Malaysia-Singapore Young Lawyers’ Summit 2024.
