Kevin Omar Sidharta is a key member of the firm’s restructuring and insolvency, TMT, and aviation practices, and also has busy M&A/FDI, real estate and project finance and development practices. He has testified as an expert witness on Indonesian law in a number of foreign legal proceedings. Through his work over the years, he has developed particular experience, expertise and industry-specific knowledge in financial services, manufacturing, consumer goods, e-commerce, fintech, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, education, oil and gas, general mining, power and renewables, real estate and construction, shipping, aviation, automotive, plantations and agriculture, and tourism and hospitality. This experience and his subsequent work on numerous high-profile bankruptcy/suspension-of-payment cases have encouraged him to share his knowledge by regularly contributing to various publications and speaking at a wide range of workshops and seminars on Indonesian bankruptcy law and practice. He attended the University of Indonesia’s Law School, where he majored in business law. After his graduation in 2000, he went on to continue his legal studies at Leiden University, from where he graduated cum laude in 2002 with an LLM degree in international business law.
