About Charles Kalil

Charles Kalil is a partner in Kirkland’s GR&II group. Charles focuses his practice on representing organisations in white-collar criminal defence, government and internal investigations, related litigation and counselling clients through sensitive matters. Charles has extensive experience with corporate monitorships and also provides advice to corporations on a variety of internal controls, ethics and compliance matters. Prior to returning to Kirkland, Charles served as an Assistant US Attorney in the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan, criminal division, specialising in white-collar, corruption and healthcare cases including complex international investigations in co-ordination with foreign authorities.
