About Chris Heasley

Chris Heasley focuses on acquisitions, divestitures and formation of joint ventures involving energy assets, with a particular emphasis on unconventional resources. He is a corporate partner in the Houston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and represents clients in connection with the purchase and sale of a broad range of assets, including in both the upstream and midstream sectors. Chris’s transactional experience also includes advising clients in connection with the formation of joint ventures and complex energy projects, DrillCo arrangements, farmout and participation agreements to develop oil and gas properties, oil and gas transportation and gathering agreements, natural gas processing and fractionation agreements, and other commercial transactions concerning the development of oil and gas properties.
