About Lorna Xin Chen

Lorna Xin Chen is Asia Regional Managing Partner, Head of Greater China and the founder and head of the Asia investment funds practice at Shearman & Sterling. She has 27 years' experience across the US, Europe and Asia in corporate law, including investment funds and private equity. She advises clients on the structuring, restructuring, formation and operation of alternative investment products, including private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, funds of funds, project funds and co-investment structures. Lorna is a panel member of the Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal and serves as a vice-chair of the Technical Committee of the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association.
